European Sleek Design Trends in Bathroom and Kitchens

Apr 17, 2024 | New Kitchen Products, Partner Message

A message from our Corporate Partner, CASF Corian.

At the heart of European sleek design is a commitment to simplicity and minimalism. Bathrooms and kitchens adorned with this aesthetic feature uncluttered spaces, sleek surfaces, and understated details. This design trend creates spaces that give a sense of openness, inviting residents and guests to relax and unwind.

In the pursuit of modern minimalism, CASF Australia’s new Corian® Slump Vanity challenges the realm of bathroom aesthetics with its unconventional design. Its innovative “barely there” basin seamlessly integrates into the sleek countertop creating a visual continuity that exudes sophistication. The absence of bulky fixtures creates an uninterrupted flow of space and contemporary silhouette.

What truly sets this vanity apart is its ingenious approach to water drainage. Rather than relying on traditional drain mechanisms that disrupt the clean lines of the basin, the Corian® Slump Vanity features a discreet slit for water drainage. This subtle yet highly functional design element ensures efficient water flow while preserving the vanity’s minimalist allure.

Crafted with precision and attention to detail, the Corian® Slump Vanity’s smooth, non-porous surface is not only visually striking but also resistant to stains and easy to clean with minimal maintenance. Whether installed in a sleek urban loft or a tranquil spa-inspired retreat, this vanity elevates any bathroom space with its timeless appeal.

Available in a standard 900 x 500 x 12mm size vanity, however, Corian® also offers custom sizes and thicknesses to suit individual preferences and design visions. Designers can also select from a variety of Corian® colours, allowing for further customisation and personalisation.

When it comes to home renovations, it’s not just about the visual appeal but also about functionality, durability, and most importantly, the lifestyle it supports. Situated on the south coast, “The Avenue” is a prime example of how a full home renovation can be seamlessly blended with design and practicality.

Taking inspiration from its coastal surroundings, “The Avenue” by Concepts by Gavin Hepper showcases soft, timeless curves complemented by a neutral colour palette punctuated with warm timber highlights. These design elements provide a sense of calm and relaxation which perfectly aligns with the property’s location.

Corian® was the material of choice thanks to the unmatched versatility, flexibility, and unique ability to curve and thermoform. This allowed for the creation of the kitchen’s centrepiece – a breathtakingly curved island that effortlessly blends the line between art and functionality whilst implementing the trending European Sleek design through the use of 12mm UltraSlim Benchtops.

With Corian® leading the way in versatility and aesthetics, the possibilities for creating timeless and luxurious interiors are truly endless. Whether it’s through minimalist vanities or sleek kitchen benchtops, these design trends exemplify a commitment to creating spaces that not only look stunning but also enhance the way we live and interact with our surroundings.
